Visited the city recently and met up with Ryan Chua and it was v. fun! V. fun v. fun. By city, I’m referring to San Francisco, home of the ice cream houses and rolling hill-streets. I actually used to live in San Francisco. Back when I was much younger, I used to feel really strong nostalgia when seeing certain parts of San Francisco that I must have subconsciously recognized from my early childhood. Most of that is gone now though, I’ve gone so often through my high schools years to adventure with friends and embark on photoshoots as well. I never considered San Francisco and other parts of the Bay area as very familiar until I left to Los Angeles for school, and now when I visit the first thought that comes to mind is “home! I’m home.” Interesting.

Hi readers! Today I shot some pictures of a new parka that I bought from Abercrombie a few weeks ago. (It was a purchase long overdue.) Even though I live in California, the weather still gets too cold for my liking at times. And this year, El Nino effects have been hitting pretty hard. From going to Los Angeles back to the Bay Area, I can definitely feel a spike in the cold temperature and I decided to buy a parka when I was out shopping with my best friend in San Francisco. This one was 40% off during one of Abercrombie’s holiday sales, and I bought one in a navy color- I’ve been buying navy a lot recently because I feel like it complements my hair color well.

The challenge is certainly fun at times, but most of the time it’s stifling because there’s a quality to the essence of youth that I’m addicted to. If I could, I would be a naive and carefree child for the rest of my being. I’m in love with the idea of no responsibility, because that means all the time in the world to explore my surroundings and chase my creative visions. I can sit in my minds garden in a white sundress and happily water the sprouts. I’m in love with that thought of sitting in a field, with the blue sky around, listening to music and feeling as if time is inconsequential. But slowly, we must to learn balance
